Moving Tips:

• Limit cartons to 50 lbs when possible.
• Pack out of season items first.
• Empty drawers of all breakable and liquid filled items.
• Place small boxes in single large box.
• List the contents on the side of the carton.
• Indicate the room to which each carton belongs.
• Color coordinate boxes with room doors.
• Mark cartons you want to unpack first.
• Make sure doorways and stairs are clear.
• Furniture and large boxes will be loaded first.  Small boxes should be set to the side.
• Plan ahead to save time and money.
• Keep children and pets safely out of the way.
