Limit cartons to 50 lbs when possible.
Pack out of season items first.
Empty drawers of all breakable and liquid filled items.
Place small boxes in single large box.
List the contents on the side of the carton.
Indicate the room to which each carton belongs.
Color coordinate boxes with room doors.
